Nov IISF & OWASP Security Event

IISF and OWASP are delighted to host a joint security event based on the theme of innovation.

Our guest speakers will be Dr Jesscia Barker and Ian Lucey.

• Jessica is is a leader in the human nature of cyber security. Having run her own cyber security consultancy for over 4 years, Jessica recently co-founded Redacted Firm. Jessica is known for her clear communication style and for making cyber security accessible to all.

• Jessica will be sharing some of her latest work with us during this session.

• Ian is the founder of the Lucey Fund, a Venture Technology firm that makes startups happen by funding the development, design, branding and marketing of their products. In 2017 alone the Lucey Fund invested in 30 new projects and plan to invest in 40 more in 2018.

• Ian will be talking about why investors think cyber security is hot, future concepts & how (and if) GDPR will affect investment funds.

This event will take place in The Alex Hotel on Fenian St, November 22nd from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
