Our well attended March IISF Chapter Meeting featured a deep dive into the recently published 2023 Vulnerability Statistics Report by Edgescan and we also enjoyed an expert presentation on the top ten privacy issues we all need to be aware of by BH Consulting.
This report provides a view of the state of full stack security based on thousands of security assessments and penetration tests performed globally, as delivered by Edgescan SaaS during 2022. Delving into the underlying data and analysis Eoin provided members with a unique insight into what’s going on from a trends and statistics perspective and provided a useful guide to the overall state of cyber security up to the start of 2023.
The second presentation delivered by Valerie Lyons, BH Consulting was a very informative whistle-stop tour of ten key privacy and data protection concepts that cybersecurity professionals should be aware of in order to enhance personal data protection practices in their organisation and beyond.
