Oracle cloud server data breach

Source: Bleeping computer
Date: March 25th 2025

An alleged breach of Oracle Cloud's federated SSO login servers with the hacker claiming to have stolen authentication data for 6 million users was reported widely. Oracle denies the breach, stating no customer data was compromised.

However, leaked samples provided by the hacker were verified as authentic by multiple companies, raising concerns about Oracle's security. The hacker reportedly exploited a vulnerability in Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g software and shared details with BleepingComputer. Oracle has since taken the affected server offline but refuses to comment further, leaving the situation surrounded by uncertainty.
